On the Cabin Porch

The handle of the door turns, but the cabin is still locked. The still-rising wind blows leaves and several raindrops.

You pat your pocket, thankfully still finding the key there.

While your options remain limited, you do consider them: west along the shore or going east instead. Of course, you don't forget the key in your pocket.
