Southeast Shore

The wind continues to come from the shore. The cabin is not visible because a thick mix of conifer trees completely block the view. The trees are not thick along the shore and you feel a chill. The sun is now intermittently covered by the otherwise lovely cumulus clouds rushing in over the lake. Over your shoulder, to the southwest, across the lake, it looks even darker.

There's no telling how big the island is.

You can go west, back toward the cabin, or to continue along the shore east in spite of the rising wind and the chill.
