Inside the Cabin
You raise the flashlight which has hung all this time from a split loop at your belt. While it is daytime, the cloud cover has thickened overhead and the light from behind you isn't enough to show the cabin's interior well. In the beam, you see a table in the center of the single room.On the table is a lantern with a box of matches beside it.
There are plenty of matches, but you are glad it only takes a single one to light the lantern. You swing your backpack off onto a chair by the fireplace before looking around the cabin's space.
