Word of the Day is a chance to play with the words of English. Each day a new word, each day a chance to write something using the word.
Be as creative as you want. Write a single sentence; make a pun; write a short story. Have fun.
There are no prizes, sorry, just fun with the words. The game began in 2004 and has continued more or less steadily since then.

The current word is at the bottom of the last page in the topic. Look through a few pages to get the flavor, then jump to the last page, go to the bottom and add a post.

Currently, the images are not indexed. If you would like to have that done, contact algot@runeman.org
Be patient, the game is a volunteer effort.
Note: many images are from sources like flickr. Those images are not stored here.
In general, you can easily identify the
location of the image. The images are not stored at the IBDoF forum.
The forum uses links to another site where the images are stored. Most
browsers let you examine the image details when you right-click and
choose the correct option.
