East End of the Island

The path is definitely curved to the left now, and it is clear that the island isn't going further east, anyway.

The path behind you, west, will get you back toward the cabin faster, but you do wonder about the island's other side. You can still continue along the shore northeast in spite of the continung wind and the chill.

With sun filtered through the leaves above you, you think about the invitation to visit the island, but you feel silly standing still and urge yourself to make a decision.
