Heading Back
The wind continues to come at you as you walk west, following a well-worn path. The cabin is not yet visible ahead of you because a thick mix of conifer trees completely block the view. The trees are not thick along the shore and you wish you were out of the chill. The sun is now intermittently covered by the otherwise lovely cumulus clouds rushing in over the lake. Across the lake it looks even darker.
There's only the choice to go west, back toward the cabin, or go back along the shore east in spite of the rising wind and the chill. And you have the key!
